Market Garden

The market garden is our primary farm enterprise. We operate 135 intensively cropped beds, each of which see as many as four vegetable crops in one season. We also utilize high tunnels to extend our growing season. Learn more about our management practices.

We are raising pastured chickens as a part of this developing agroforestry system in conjunction with our Detroit location. It is important to our business and our mission that we pursue regenerative enterprises, and chickens and other livestock are one of the fastest ways to regenerate pasture health as they renovate the ground through foraging and excrement. Honey Bee Products

We are welcoming hives to the farm! Once they are established, we will be offering honey bee products like honey, wax, pollen, and more!

Flowers

We dedicate a portion of our farm to annual cut flowers for pollinators and humans alike to enjoy. Not only are flowers beneficial to the farm's ecosystem, but they bring color and joy into the homes in our community. We grow an assortment of varieties that are all hand-transplanted and use season extension so flowers can be enjoyed all season long. Nursery

Because they are so important to our farm, we propagate and sell annual and perennial useful and edible plant and tree species for others as well. We enjoy selling speciality native trees, shrubs and herbs, but also have garden fruit and vegetable transplants available each spring.
